What can I consume?

The golden rule of fasting: If it doesn't spike your insulin and contains zero calories, it is allowed.


1. Liquids (Hydration)

Water Min. 84–135 fl oz

Essential for detox and kidney function.

Black Coffee 2–4 cups

Must be black! No milk or sugar. Boosts fat burning.

Green / Black Tea 2–5 cups

Rich in antioxidants and improves focus.

Herbal Tea Unlimited

Avoid fruit teas due to potential hidden sugars.


Water calculation: 0.5 fl oz × body weight in lbs. (Add +17–34 fl oz extra during a fast).


2. Electrolytes (Minerals)

To avoid "Keto Flu" (headaches, dizziness), you must replenish minerals flushed out by the kidneys.

Sodium (Salt)

3,000–5,000 mg/day – Mix high-quality salt into your water.

Potassium

1,000–3,000 mg/day – Use "Lite Salt" or potassium supplements.

Magnesium

300–450 mg/day – Best: Citrate or Glycinate.

Calculation: 2.7 mg × body weight in lbs.


3. Vitamins

Vitamin C: 500–1,000 mg

Helps manage cortisol and stress.

Vitamin B6 / B-Complex: As directed

Essential for energy, but may cause nausea on an empty stomach. Take in divided doses.
